My Friend To The End

I've known you for many years,
Through that time we've shared laughter and tears.
You have been so nice to me right from the start,
You will always have a special place in my heart.
You have been such a blessing in my life,
You've been  there through all my pain and strife.
You don't know how much your friendship means to me,
But I want you to know a precious friend you will forever be.
You let your light shine for all the world to see,
You witness to lost souls and tell them that Jesus can set them free
Your love for people is genuine and true,
I can see that by the things you do.
You'll never know of the many lives you've touched,
But know that you are appreciated very much.
In an instant you're ready to help people in any way you can,
And you're never afraid to take a stand.
For what is right, pure, and true,
You always seem to know what to do.
