A Greatful Heart

You have made imprints on my heart,
You were there for me right from the start.
Rejoicing with me through the good times,
And helping me through the bad.
Giving me a shoulder to cry on when I was sad.
Teaching me new things along the way,
And reminding me to be thankful for every day.
I could never repay you for all that you've done,
On the bad days you told me,
That one day I would rise like the sun.
I am very blessed to have a friend like you,
I don't take your friendship for granted,
And I hope you know that too.
