WASTED YEARS

I have wasted so many years,
Years I could have spent by making someone smile,
And wipe away their tears.
I strive to do better every day,
By helping people and showing them the way.
I want to help people like they have helped me,
I want to return the favor you see.
God has put special people in my life,
To help me through all my trials.
So with God's help I'll touch peoples' lives,
Just how they have touched mine.
