MY VALENTINE

you are my special valentine God sent from above,
He knew I needed someone to love.
year after year on Valentine’s Day,
my heart would break into.
seeing guys buy for their girls stuffed animals that says I Love You.
I felt so alone and wanted to cry,
praying and hoping for that special guy.
knowing that if I found him I wouldn’t fear another Valentine’s Day.
then on October 9th my prayers were answered and I found the one,
the one who would stay.
stay with me no matter what I feared,
through thick and thin,
and who would help me, love me, and during times of trouble would be right there.
now the only tears I cry,
are simple tears of joy,
joy because I never have to worry about another lonely Valentine’s Day,
because of my answered prayer,
the miracle that to me He gave.
my heart is complete now,
no more will it break into,
because of my consistent praying,
God gave me a miracle,
when He sent me to you.
