MY BEST FRIEND

My best friend taught me right from wrong,
In my heart she put a song.
When I was a child she taught me the way,
His name is Jesus, He still saves today.
I'm thankful to have such a loving mother,
She's unlike any other.
I try to show her how much I care,
I let her know I'm always there.
Just like she's been here for me,
A true friend she will always be.
I can see Jesus in her life,
Shining like a big bright light.
In a world full of darkness she can touch people's lives,
Just how she's touched mine.
I can only give glory to God in Heaven for sending me my best friend.
Now I am closing with a prayer to God above
That He'll bless this mother of abundant love,
With health and safety throughout her days,
Until you take her to Heaven to stay.
