CHAINS OF DARKNESS

Everytime I start to see the light,
Satan comes and strangles me with his chains of darkness.
I feel like I'm a prisoner begging to be set free.
There's no end to this battle I fight.
It goes on day after day,
Hour after hour,
Minute after minute.
The enemy has hit me with so many darts,
I'm wounded and bleeding right down to the heart.
So weak that I don't have strength left to fight.
Sometimes I feel so alone,
But I know God is with me.
To help me, to heal me, to give me hope.
I believe that one day I will be set free,
But until then, what should I do?
How can I see?
When will I be set free?
Oh God I need answers please help me I pray,
I need strength to get through these darkening days.
I trust in you God,
Your Word is true.
