Emotional Rollercoaster

I feel like I am on a roller coaster,
Going up and down.
Sometimes I'm happy and sometimes I'm down.
Turning my smile into a frown.
I'm frustrated at times because I want to feel better,
I don't want to stay like this forever.
I look in the mirror and what I see,
Is an ugly person staring back at me.
Other times I look in the mirror and see,
Someone who is beautiful and sweet.
One day I want to look in the mirror and see,
The wonderful person inside of me.
It's a long road to hoe, but I know I must go,
To climb that mountain of self worth and inner peace.
Knowing that when I reach the top I will be free.
Free from the burden of being down,
Free from negativity, and all smiles instead of frowns.
With God's help I will make that great climb,
And at last I will have that sweet peace of mind.
