A FRIEND IS

a friend is always there,
to meet every need and care.
a friend is one who sticks with you,
no matter what you do.
a friend will lift your spirits,
when you’re feeling down.
a friend will give you hope,
and never let you down.
the friend I am talking about is my God above,
He fills me with His tender love.
I call on Him each and every day,
I ask Him questions,
He answers me,
in new and different ways.
